WHY identifying a Kamatz Katan is Important!

Although the Kamatz Gadol and the Kamatz Katan
use the same vowel symbol (the Kamatz), they are
pronounced differently.
In Hebrew pronouncing a word incorrectly, may change the
meaning of the word,  thereby possibly also changing
the meaning of the sentence the word is in.

Thus we must prevent reading a word in the Torah incorrectly.
We must read true to the text – exactly as written,
exactly as originally meant
